Transition Instructions
Pets can be sensitive to sudden changes in their diets. For this reason, it is extremely important to follow a gradual transition plan to best support your pet's health and product effectiveness. It is recommended to follow at least a 7-day transition plan before exclusively feeding your pet a new food. Start by mixing 75% of your pet's current diet with 25% of the new diet on Day 1 and Day 2. On Day 3 and Day 4, mix 50% of the current diet with 50% of the new diet. On Day 5 and Day 6, mix 25% of the current diet with 75% of the new diet. On Day 7, you can feed your pet the new food exclusively. Ask your Veterinarian about the best way to transition your pet to a new food.

Goldendoodle loves this + no more GI issues

Our vet prescribed this after our dog was having ongoing GI issues. We tried several chicken and rice formulas but he either stopped eating them and/or had gross poo. He actually lost 10 lbs when our Dr had us try this. Well, our dog (both dogs actually) LOVE this food. He eats it like it's candy and begs for more. He started eating it out of the smaller dogs bowl which he has never done before. Now both dogs eat this and the results have been great. Weight back up, poo is doing well and he loves mealtime again! Being a vegan, I'm happier not having to buy meat based dogfood. Now our entire house in plant based. Better than I expected

I was skeptical about this item because of the reviews that I read about dogs not liking the taste but I have a standard poodle that has been having chronic ear infections and spending a fortune at the vet. Was recommended by an ER vet to try this dog food. I started off feeding it from my hand because they associate that with getting treats. And I have started adding warm water to the food. For whatever reason, they like it. Even my miniature Dachshund likes it. I've been using going in 3 weeks and so far, I'm totally satisfied. I'm glad I tried it.

Finally! A food Lady Likes

Lady is our 10 year old Labrador. She has always had problems with ear infections and infected Anal glands. Our vet recommended this food to see if it would alleviate any of the problems. From day 1 she has eaten every morsal which is quite a change from how she had been eating her other food. She absolutely loves it! It's only been a little over a week, but she seems to have more energy, alertness, and no tummy problems. Hopefully the allergies will be curtailed and we can get her off of the expensive meds!

Nellie is a picky eater and she has unknown allergy/health issues. Our vet recommended this, based off the first day my hopes are high. She didn't bark or complain about her food. I also noticed it was easier for her to eat. Her last food must've been really hard because sometimes she'd swallow it whole. Wet food gives her explosive diarrhea so dry food for now on. For $100 I really hope this helps her skin and sensitive stomach. Before this she'd only eat the super cheap "junk" dog food.

It arrived on time and in good condition. My pup loves this stuff but it was prescribed to help with her allergies. She has been on it about 2 weeks and it seems to have helped some, it hasn't completely eliminated her problem. Hopefully it will after she's been on it a few more weeks.

Our big puppy Atlas is on this special HA vegetarian diet for several reasons (GI issues and Folate deficiency from birth). He was very sick before using this diet. This is the formula and brand our vet scripted us for. Quickly we figured out that It's hard to buy this food anywhere! Every other store has limited stock with expired or near expired food (literally collecting dust)!! Chewy gave us the best quality, discounts, and delivered fast. We are grateful for that because our Golden is so special to us. and he is not sick anymore, which gives us peace of mind.

We try many different highs quality food for our Suisse Berger Blanc / Swiss White Shepherd who had from early puppy to adult age difficulty with digestion. Our Veterinary, suggested that we try Purina Pro Plan Veterinary Diet, I was not to change again for a new food very expensive for what? For a huge improvement on our life, and the health of our dog. Highly recommended, if your dog can't have solid stools, and didn't care to eat - it's probably a good idea, to ask your Veterinay to try Purina Pro Plan veterinary Diet. It's expensive, we paid $120 dollars the bag, and a bag last 3 weeks, but we keep it as the results are great. (Sorry for my English, I hope everyone will understand!)

Our Dalmatian loves this kibble. He did not refuse to eat it from the first bowl. There was no need to mix it with his prior kibble nor add anything (cottage cheese, carrots, etc.) to encourage his accepting the change. Very pleased with this kibble as our experience with previous products (UD, etc.) was very negative with refusing to eat. Highly recommend this food.

My 11 yr old dog has developed food allergies and a severe one to chicken. Her gas was so bad(worst outhouse smell ever) I thought she was dying. Switch her to this was the answer to our prayers. A major plus was she likes it!
